{"id":7371,"date":"2025-10-28T18:12:09","date_gmt":"2025-10-28T18:12:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/autos0to60.com\/?p=7371"},"modified":"2025-10-28T19:10:35","modified_gmt":"2025-10-28T19:10:35","slug":"5-million-miles-in-the-sky","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/autos0to60.com\/en\/5-million-miles-in-the-sky\/","title":{"rendered":"5 Million Miles in the Sky, that\u00b4s 20+ trips to the moon and back!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AmericanAir\">American Airlines<\/a><\/strong> I have flow 4.85 million miles with them since March, 1993, when I joined the #AAdvantage Program, but I am well over 5,000,000 miles if I include all the flights other commercial airlines &#8211; over 100,000 on <strong>Delta Air Lines<\/strong>-, charter and private planes and a few helicopters.<\/p>\n<p>I\u00b4ve mostly flow #AA out of Miami International Airport &#8211; MIA but here are a few other airlines and what I remember of them (in no particular order):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Delta &#8211; Never liked those blue seats.<\/li>\n<li>United- I avoid it whenever possible.<\/li>\n<li>Southworst &#8211; \u00a0I mean Southwest Airlines the Comunist airline. What do you mean we are all the sane?<\/li>\n<li>JetBlue &#8211; Very, very, very last resource<\/li>\n<li>Virgin Atlantic &#8211; Cool concept, poor excecution<\/li>\n<li>Lufthansa &#8211; #germany perfection<\/li>\n<li>Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas &#8211; The flight attendants<\/li>\n<li>Air France &#8211; A revoir!<\/li>\n<li>Iberia &#8211; Ni f\u00fa, ni f\u00e1!<\/li>\n<li>Japan Airlines &#8211; Elegant<\/li>\n<li>Korean Air &#8211; Efficent<\/li>\n<li>Finnair &#8211; Cold<\/li>\n<li>Austrian Airlines &#8211; Colder<\/li>\n<li>Copa Airlines &#8211; Salud!<\/li>\n<li>Alitalia &#8211; Ciao Bella!<\/li>\n<li>Avianca Una &#8211; sola vez!<\/li>\n<li>Turkish Airlines &#8211; Amazing service!<\/li>\n<li>Emirates &#8211; Even better!<\/li>\n<li>Swiss International Air Lines &#8211; Neutral<\/li>\n<li>LATAM Airlines &#8211; It was better under OneWorld<\/li>\n<li>Aeromexico &#8211; Tarde, mal o nunca!<\/li>\n<li>Mexicana de Aviaci\u00f3n &#8211; No existe<\/li>\n<li>Jetstar Australia &#8211; Just good enough<\/li>\n<li>Vietnam Airlines &#8211; Better than expected<\/li>\n<li>South African Airlines &#8211; Big plane, Long flight, front seat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So, after decades of travel, 5 million plus is not just a number, it\u2019s a whole journey.
