Planes, Trains and Automobiles and a bit more … Turkey style.

Driving in Turkey is a great way to see the country.

In Turkey, it is driven at the right side of the road. Turkey’s roads aret great but traffic can be chaotic.

There are unexpected roundabouts, turns and narrow alleys which require amazing skills and make driving in Turkey a hectic task.

But with all the freedom it brings you, it is definitely worth to consider. In order to drive in Turkey, one must be above 18 years of age and need to have a driving license in English.

International driving licenses work too but aren’t required if you are driving in the country for three months or less as any driving license in the English language would do the job.

My partner easily used his UAE and Oman driving license in Turkey as they were in English.

However, if you are 25 years of age or under, you need to pay more for the insurance. More information clic here
